Transport to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH)

Yishun Health is two hospitals on one campus. We go to the right one.

Where we meet you

Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and Yishun Community Hospital share a campus and are separate buildings. Name which one when you book — a discharge from the community hospital is not the same door as the acute hospital lobby.

Khoo Teck Puat Hospital serves the north of the island from Yishun Central, next to Yishun Pond and a short walk from Yishun MRT. For a family in Sembawang, Woodlands or Admiralty it is the nearest acute hospital, which is why most of our northern discharge trips end here.

Two hospitals, one campus

Yishun Community Hospital sits on the same campus as KTPH. Patients are often moved between them for rehabilitation after an acute stay, so the hospital named on a discharge letter is not always the building the family remembers visiting. Tell us which, and the chauffeur goes to that lobby rather than the one with the bigger sign.

Coming from the north

A trip from Sembawang or Woodlands is short, and the fare is the same S$65 as a trip from the far side of the island. There is no distance component to argue about afterwards, which is the point of a flat fare on a day nobody wants to be doing arithmetic.

What the fare includes

S$65 base fare in a Luxury MPV to any hospital on the island — it does not change with distance or traffic, and there is no GST. A late-night pickup between 23:00 and 07:00 adds S$20, and a date-based surcharge can apply (F1 Grand Prix week). Whatever applies is shown in the quote before you pay. One companion travels free. Wheelchair space is available on request at no surcharge; tell us when booking so the right vehicle is sent. Waiting and a return leg are quoted with the booking rather than added afterwards.

Transit Line is an independent LTA-licensed chauffeur company, not affiliated with or endorsed by Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH), and provides transport only — not medical or nursing care. For an emergency, call 995.

Questions about this hospital

KTPH or Yishun Community Hospital — does it matter which I name?

Yes. They share a campus and are separate buildings, and patients are often moved between them for rehabilitation, so the name on the discharge letter may not be the building you visited. Name the one you need and the chauffeur goes to that lobby.

Does the fare change with distance or traffic?

Not with distance or traffic. S$65 is the base fare in the Luxury MPV from anywhere on the island, with no GST and no meter. A pickup between 23:00 and 07:00 adds S$20, and a date-based surcharge can apply — F1 Grand Prix week is the one that affects this service. Whatever applies is in the quote before you pay. One companion travels free.

Can you wait while we finish the discharge paperwork?

Yes — tell us when you book and we quote the waiting time with the trip rather than adding it afterwards. Discharge rarely runs to the hour given, so it is better to say so in advance than to have the chauffeur arrive to an open-ended wait.

Can you take a wheelchair, or someone who needs help to the door?

Wheelchair space is available on request at no surcharge — say so when booking so the right vehicle is sent. Your chauffeur will help with bags to the door. We provide transport only, not medical or nursing care.
