TTSH is part of Health City Novena, which means the campus carries the traffic of a hospital, several specialist centres and an MRT interchange at once. Between about eight and ten in the morning the driveway is at its worst, and that is exactly when most clinic appointments start.
For a morning appointment, allow more time than the map suggests — the delay is at the door rather than on the road. A pre-booked car helps here in a way it does not everywhere: the chauffeur is already waiting when you come out, rather than joining the queue to get in.
Mount Elizabeth Novena is a few minutes away and a different hospital entirely. If your appointment letter says one and you say the other when booking, the chauffeur goes to the wrong campus — so we confirm which when the destination is in Novena.
