Across the causeway to Sentosa, quietly. Changi Airport is ~30 minutes away.
We drive onto Sentosa and up to the Capella porte-cochère — no changing vehicles at the gate, and the island entry fee is included in the fare.
Capella sits in the greenery on Sentosa, about thirty minutes from Changi once you account for the island crossing. It is a resort property, so guests arrive with more luggage than usual and often with children — which makes the vehicle choice matter more than the route.
Arrivals are a flat S$85 for a Luxury MPV (up to 6 passengers, 4 large bags), S$95 for a 13-seater Combi. We drive onto the island and right up to the hotel entrance — there is no swapping cars at the gate, and the Sentosa entry charge is already in the fare.
Child seats are S$10 per seat and need to be requested when booking so the right ones are fitted. For larger groups the Combi takes thirteen people and the luggage in one vehicle, which is usually calmer and cheaper than three ride-hails.
Sentosa is walkable in parts and awkward in others, particularly in the heat with children. Hourly hire from S$85/hour gives you a car on call for the day, and the same chauffeur throughout.
